PRODUCTION THESIS REOUIREMENTS
Directing/Production

To complete the thesis requirements in Directing/Production you must successfully produce/direct a 20 to 30 minute video program. You, the director, must have complete creative control in the processes of production and it must be your vision that determines its aesthetic definition.
Any student who is not prepared to complete his or her thesis during his/her third
semester will be required to complete it during the following semester, registered as a continuing student.

Concept/Proposal :
Proposal should include:
Title (Working Title is acceptable.)
Concept (What is this video about?)
Personal Objectives (Why did you chose this project? What does it mean to
you?)
Program Objectives (What is the purpose of your program? What
would you like to accomplish through the program? Who is your intended audience?)
Background Information (The facts that are relevant to understanding your
concept. This section should give evidence that you have conducted adequate research. This section should, also, demonstrate the feasibility of the production: Do you have the cooperation of key personnel and are all required elements available and accessible? )
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
-Is the concept "good?" (Does it "illuminate dark comers?")
-Is the concept original? Imaginative?
-Is the concept presented clearly and persuasively?
-Is the concept feasible?
-Is the concept visually interesting?
-Will the program be between 15 and 30 minutes long?
