BUPA is having our first Group Concert Event! Come listen with us on Thursday October 25th at 8PM at Symphony Hall. Find out more about the event on our facebook page here.

Come to our first general meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 18th at 5:00 - 5:30! It will be at the Mugar Library in Room 205. Bring some friends and come learn more about BUPA!

March 9th, 2012

Are you an experienced pianist and like to teach others? Do you like working with children? Have you been to Boston's Chinatown? If you've answered yes to any of these questions, you might want to learn about BCNC, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, where there are opportunities to serve the Boston community beyond the BU campus. BCNC is looking for volunteer piano teachers to teach some basics to children on weekends in Chinatown. If this sounds at all interesting, please do not hesitate to email us about more information!

BUPA also is also planning to hold a bake sale on April 2nd - April 4th at the GSU Link. We'll keep you updated if there are any changes!

Workshops are on going well this semester and we are in the midst of planning an end-of-the-year event/performance. Again, we'll update everybody when that is finalized, but just a heads up.

Another important note, elections are coming up, so if you're interesting in being on eboard or just becoming more active in BUPA, please contact us and we will also let everybody know when we are holding the next meeting concerning all that!

A bit late, but thank you everybody who came out for the general meeting! We really appreciate everybody's participation, and so thank you everybody! Information concerning workshops should be emailed soon, so keep you eyes open for that. Hello 2012! BUPA would like to start off this semester with a General Meeting on Thursday, February 2nd 2012, in CAS 208. We hope to just recap with everybody what BUPA has coming up this semester, as well as set up workshops for this semester! Hope to see you all there!

As the final week of workshops finishes up, BUPA would just like to thank everybody! Thank you to the teachers for your time and help, and thank you to the students that participated! Great job everybody for a semester of good piano playing and musical community!
