Call for Participation

Whitepaper submission is now closed

The National Science Foundation and the ENG Directorate cordially invites all interested parties to submit a brief whitepaper for participation in the 2014 National Science Foundation Workshop on Noninvasive Imaging of Brain Function.

We anticipate that the two-day workshop will have approximately 70 attendees, selected by the program committee to achieve diverse and balanced participation across sectors and disciplines. A subset of those invited to participate in the workshop will be offered the opportunity to give presentations based on their whitepaper.

Workshop presentations and discussions will be used to prepare a comprehensive publishable document that envisions new research needed to catalyze innovations and advances in science and engineering related to the workshop topic. The final report will be distributed widely.

Instructions

Whitepapers should:

  • Include a clear, descriptive title
  • Identify specific research challenges and/or propose innovative concepts and ideas
  • Contribute toward defining an agenda for future research – not report on results of past research or current research projects
  • Include a brief biosketch paragraph
  • Be submitted in PDF format, no more than two pages in length, (one page is also satisfactory) no later than June 2, 2014, through this website
