Welcome to CH112/182 Intensive General and Quantitative Analytical Chemistry Lab. This is the second semester of a year-long laboratory course intended for chemistry concentrators, biochemistry concentrators, accelerated medical sciences students, physical/biological science majors, and interested students, who require a one-year intensive course in chemistry.
In addition to the learning outcomes of CH111, by the end of this course students will (i) extend their understanding of proper use of analytical glassware and associated lab equipment, (ii) perform in-depth experiments using spectroscopy, (iii) develop a strong understanding of equilibrium chemistry, (iv) refine their skills in scientific communication, and (v) propose and complete a project of their design.
