GENA ROWLANDS AND JOHN CASSAVETES AT HOME

Business Is Pleasure

Newlyweds? Hardly—although you'd never guess that John and Gena have been married since 1954 from all the kissing and snuggling that goes on it the Cassavetes household. They met in drama school in New York City and since them have grabbed at any chance to work together, either in films or on TV. If they can't act together, John can always direct or produce for Gena since he's been on that side of the business, too, for the last ten years since he made his first hit film, Shadows.

He's a hyper-active guy, always working on some film project, and he usually works at home, with Gena at his side. She has a funny habit of turning business into pleasure and making their marraige a real partnership. Gena just wrapped up her work in Peyton Place and John's completed Para.'s Rosemary's Baby, so as soon as they pack, they'll had back to New York.
