The 2009-10 production of Sleep No More in Brookline, Massachusetts, by British troupe Punchdrunk working with the support of Harvard's A.R.T., provoked a drastic development in my relationship to consuming and making art. I saw that show twice, wandering around the dark multi-story maze (see what I did there?) in a state of anxious wonderment, and have since seen the new production in NYC's Chelsea neighborhood three times. On a regular basis, musical and visual motifs from the show will come to mind during the workday, on the train, while driving, while trying to fall asleep; they enrich my life.

Below, I'm beginning to bring to order some of the notes and resources I've gathered about the show. If you have material you'd like to suggest, feel free to email me. - ZWB
