Based in Denver and together since 2023, Trio Perruches includes violinist Robyn Julyan, cellist David Short and pianist Ketty Nez. The group's concerts explore new works in conversation with composers of different eras and styles. With recent concerts in Colorado and Boston, including music by composers David Gompper, Ofer Ben-Amots, Gabriela Lena Frank, and Ketty Nez, they look forward to their upcoming residency March 2027 at the University of Iowa Center for New Music, including a performance of University of Iowa faculty David Gompper's Trio and the premiere of Nez's new trio palimpsest.

Their debut album of Ketty's piano trios, only the path remains (Albany Records) was released August 2026. This album was featured on All Things Considered, WGBH Boston 89.7 FM, "Boston University composer Ketty Nez draws on her Slovenian roots for new music."
