Equipment Test

Before starting each experiment, it is necessary to run an equipment test.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Notify the Teaching Fellow when you are ready to run your equipment test.
  2. The TF will issue the start command on the control keyboard. Your house light will go on as a signal to commence your equipment test.
  3. Press the right lever – the right stimulus light will come on.
  4. Press the right lever – the right stimulus light will go off.
  5. Press the left lever – the left stimulus light will go on.
  6. Press the left lever – the left stimulus light will go off.
  7. Press the hand switch – a pellet will be delivered into the food cup.
  8. Press the hand switch – the house light will go off.
