Season 4 - Begins February 2008
Production for season 4 began on August 17th 2007. Season 4 will feature 16 episodes from February - May 2008 and the episodes will be shown consecutively.Lost will conclude with its sixth season. These seasons are to be aired uninterrupted in the first half of those years.ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson announced that Lost will end during the 2009–2010 season with a "highly anticipated and shocking finale.
Lindelof and Cuse stated that they "always envisioned Lost as a show with a beginning, middle, and end," and that by announcing when the show would end that viewers would "have the security of knowing that the story will play out as we've intended." Co-creator J.J. Abrams also praised the decision, remarking, "It is the right choice for the series and its viewers. It takes real foresight and guts to make a call like this. I applaud ABC and Touchstone for making this happen."
Terry O'Quinn wins best supporting drama actor Emmy
On the 16th of September 2007, Terry O'Quinn won the prize for best supporting actor in a drama at the 59th annual Emmy Awards
Upon receiving the prize, O'Quinn stated "You know, sometimes, when we're rolling around in the jungle and the mud and we're hitting each other and stabbing each other and shooting each other and pouring on the blood and turning on the sprinklers, I wonder what it would be like to bake up a sheet of cookies on Wisteria Lane -- and get one of their checks.But then I think of my cast mates and crew-mates ... and I realize why I have the best job in the world."
LOST Game on iPod
On May 24th 2007, video game maker Gameloft released on the iTunes store a Lost game for fifth generation iPods.
The game lets players take the role of Jack and help the survivors of Oceanic 815 survive on the mysterious island the plane crashes on. Jack interacts with other characters from the show, including Sawyer, Sayid, Locke,and Kate, and explores locations from the show, such as the hatch and Black Rock.
Lost - Second most viewed TV show in the world
According to www.wikipedia.org, Lost is the second most viewed TV show in the world after CSI: Miami.

For its first season, Lost averaged 16 million viewers, ranking 14th in viewership among prime-time shows, and 15th among the eighteen to forty-nine year old demographic.Its second season fared equally well: again, Lost ranked 14th in viewership, with an average of 15.5 million viewers. However, it improved its rating with eighteen to forty-nine year olds, ranking 8th.The second season premiere was even more viewed than the first, pulling in over 23 million viewers and setting a series record. The third season premiere brought in 18.8 million viewers. The seventh episode of the series, back from a three-month hiatus, saw a drop to 14.5 million. However, Lost still won its hour in the crucial 18–49 demographic and put out the highest 18–49 numbers in the 10pm time slot ahead of any show on any network that season. A survey of twenty countries by Informa Telecoms and Media in 2006 concluded that Lost was the second most viewed TV show in the world, next to CSI: Miami
