First Half of 2000

Hi! We thought it was time to fill you in on our journey into 2000 thus far and to let you know of tours coming up...it would be lovely to catch up with you.

In short, the year has been busy but very fulfilling. Some new opportunities have arisen for us as well as visits to familiar places and faces, which is always encouraging.

Month by Month

January

We all really enjoyed a three-week break over December and January. The Wildmans were able to spend time in Adelaide with Grant’s brother Wesley and his family from Boston. What a special time! The Wrights had a great holiday at Milang on the coast near Victor Harbour. We hope your New Year was memorable too!

As usual we began our year with a retreat and were especially challenged by some teaching tapes by Bill Hybels (from the Willow Creek Church in Chicago) about vision and what our personal and corporate mission is. We all went to the Victorian Youth Convention too!

February

A trip to Kerang for Grant and Trev was a wonderful time of being involved in community, as was their visit to Kangarooo Island.

Our SA schools program got into full swing with some good times performing and running workshops at camps and year 11 and 12 retreats.

March

A trip to Melbourne for Grant and Trev in 'Bilkoff' the Winnabago was a busy time in schools.

We had a hoot of a good time at Kid’s Campout held at the West Beach Caravan Park in Adelaide where the Uniting Church hosts about 3,000 folk under canvas for a weekend each year. Rivet and Tuft presented "Appetite", a brand new show about self control which involves a flying fox, a flying Rivet and a flying ladder! There's a tumble inside a big rolling rubber tyre and a message about God’s gifts. We hope we can share it with you one day.

April

The fellas headed for Hobart to spend time in churches and schools presenting an Easter message. On the way home, Grant joined Rochelle and Ethan in Melbourne to catch up with family and friends and, in particular, Rochelle’s sister Corrie and family from London.

Easter was spent resting!

May

The guys head to the West Coast of SA to visit Port Lincoln, Wudinna, Ceduna, Kimba, Wangary, Cleve, Whyalla, and Poonindie.

June, July, August

June is our preparation time to catch up on admin, polish skills, prepare resources, and ready ourselves for 5-6 weeks with the families on the road in NSW.

We are really looking forward to being involved again at Kidsong (the children’s part of Hillsong) as well as attending and teaching at The International Christian Dance and Movement Conference in Mittagong.

Following these Grant and Trev will be performing in schools from Gosford, Newcastle and Port Stephens to Wollongong!

We are also really excited about being approached to perform at the Space in the Festival Theatre as part of a children's series called "Something on Saturdays" on July 1st.
