We graduated from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah in 2007. Jennie received her degree in Elementary Education and I received my degree in Bioinformatics. On September 5th, 2007 we had our first child, Parker Wesley Beckstead, and then moved to Boston.  I am doing my PhD in Bioinformatics at Boston University.  Jennie has finished her Master’s degree in Education (Children's Literacy) through TUI University. We have now moved to Maryland where I am doing my thesis research at the National Cancer Institute.
