Over 44,000 students in Kids Voting Communities throughout Massachusetts voted on November 2nd! Check out the overall results on the Results page - individual communities can be found by clicking on the following:

Boston, Cape Cod, Holyoke, Peabody, Plymouth, Quincy, Richmond, Scituate, Springfield, Stoughton

Did you know?

That in 1996 - 48.2% of the voting age public cast votes, 32.4% of those aged 18 - 24 voted?

That in 1998 - 36% of the voting age public cast their votes?

That in 2000 - 50.1% of the voting age public cast votes, 32.3% of those aged 18-24 voted?

That in 2002 - 58% voting of the voting age public cast votes (In Massachusetts)?
Only 23% of those aged 18-24 voted (In Massachusetts)!

That in many major American cities, the mayor is elected by less than 10% of those eligible to vote?

That the United States ranks 139 out of 172 in voter participation?

That half of the children in the United States live in homes where no one votes!
