Join us in celebrating the 20th annual World AIDS Day! UNICEF at BU is teaming up with many different student groups at Boston University for a full week of events, World AIDS Week, that will take place between December 1st - December 5th. All of the events hope to educate, fundraise, and promote advocacy about this worldwide epidemic. The events are free and open to the public. Learn more on facebook.

Trick-or-Treat for Change! UNICEF at BU will be spending October trick-or-treating door to door for small change, to help make a difference and do whatever it takes to save a child. Get involved by picking up your own box at the next meeting or by emailing unicef@bu.edu.

Join UNICEF at the first awareness event of the year! Stop by Marsh Plaza this Friday, September 5, from 12-3:00 PM to learn about the worldwide water crisis, and help us raise awareness! Plant a flower, or throw coins in the wishing well. We hope to see you there!

At the Excellence in Student Activites Awards, UNICEF was the proud recepient of the Community Service Student Organization of the Year Award. UNICEF President Lauren Slater was the proud recepient of the deneen zarada Student Leadership Award, named in memory of deneen zarada, a member of the class of 2002. This award is given in her memory to students who show excellence in programming and leadership.
