Interests:

•Radio Astronomy
•Radio Spectroscopy
•H II regions
•Galactic structure and evolution

Current Research:

My current research involves analyzing the properties of newly discovered H II regions in the Green Bank Telescope H II Region Discovery Survey (GBT HRDS). The HRDS team consists of Professor Thomas Bania (BU), Dr. Dana Balser (NRAO), Professor Loren Anderson (WVU), and myself. Specifically, we are looking at the properties of helium and carbon radio recombination lines in these nebulae.

I am also continuing my work work from Summer 2011 with Dr. Tapasi Ghosh and Dr. Chris Salter. We are developing pipeline reduction software for the GALFA Continuum Transit Survey (GALFACTS) in search of variable objects.
