About Us

The Boston University Synchronized Skating Team was formed in 1999 under the direction of Barbara Pinch, BU’s former Coordinator of Skating.  Nine years later, our team has grown and become stronger with each year.  We have placed at regional competitions as well as traveled to seven National Championships across the United States.

         

Some members of the team came with little or no synchro experience, while others have graced highly regarded teams such as the Haydenettes and the former Team Elan. 

Student Run Team

We are primarily student run, with an elected President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer who work together to manage the team.  We also have a student Choreographer, who works closely with our part-time coach.  Each member has an opportunity to contribute to the team in their own way, both on and off the ice.
