2 - Speaker Topics
       -usually running list (from survey of last year)
       -standards: panels on non-traditional engineering careers
       -technical tours, toward college students, professional tracks
       -leave space for SWE address in the morning
       -2 keynotes: morning relates to the theme, everyone sees; exciting, fun (Karen Panetta). Dinner is more limited (Jill Tietjen, jill.tietjen@swe.org)
       -want engaging speakers
       -payment methods for speakers? Do they get paid?

3 - Guidelines for Region Conference task Force
       -in "Resources" on SWE website for 2010 regional conference

4 - Session Topics
       -use survey results from last year to guide; professionals express concern about conference being too college-focused
       -low stress/stress management
       -financial investment workshop
       -yoga at work
       -grad schools vs. work force
       -brainstorm topic ideas- will be the focus of next call (early Sept?)

5 - Site Visit
       -longest drive is 1.5 hr for those visiting
       - 4-6 hour visit
       -have visit be earlier rather than later in order to set rooms; booked extra rooms so there are options
       -want to consolidate main core of sessions
       -reformat timeline for this year
