The War on Terrorism is often justified by the 3030 deaths on 9/11/2001. This "war" has been both
expensive in monetary terms
, the
loss of US military lives abroad
, as well in
the loss of civil liberties
. Below I present data showing causes of death that exceed 9/11 on an annual basis, yet, we have not declared a "war" on any of these.
