All About Paris

I just went to Paris this spring and loved it. There is so much history, and sights to see. Whether your in the mood for gothic architecture,

Do's and Dont's

Do eat a crepe everyday

Don't go to the Eiffel Tower without a tour; the lines are ridiculous and tours get in right away

Do try to learn a few basic phrases in french before you go

Don't take the metro everywhere, if its a small group, cabs might be cheaper

Do have a picnic at the Tuilleries

My Top Picks

1. Louvre- Be prepared to walk. A LOT. The Louvre is beautiful but ,massive, so if your on a time crunch, pick a few wings or do the Ten Things to See in the Louvre Tour. You have to see the Mona Lisa, but the sculptures and Napolean's dining room are pretty amazing too.

2. Saint Michel- If your looking for delicious crepe's, croissants and anything French anytime of day, Saint Michel is where to go. It's filled with restaurants, pubs, shops, and has a great view of the Sienne and Notre Dame. Be aware that it is quite a touristy place.

3. Eiffel Tower- Yeah, its a must; you can't go to Paris and not go to the Eiffel Tower. Just be ready for long, long lines and probably an extra hour wait to go all the way to the top. But the view is stunning as is the architecture of the tower.
