Slow Children At Play, lovingly referred to as 'Slow Kids', is Boston University's best example
of teamwork. Made up of a rotating cast of Boston University undergraduates, Slow Kids writes and performs
original sketch comedy shows each semester.
Slow Kids have written and performed dozens of sold-out shows on BU's campus, including such favorites as "A Brother We Don't Really Talk About," "A Rift In Time: Here Comes Rashmi!," "A Gleason Family Christmas," "A Casualty of the Freshness," "More Mayo," and this semester's knockout hit, "How To Kiss", which was uninformative yet highly arousing.
We have hosted tens upon tens of events, including comedy shows, dance marathons, and a capella festivals.
We've also performed at sketch comedy festivals around the country, including:
University of Pennsylvania Comfest
Skidmore National College Comedy Festival
Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival
Brandeis Sketch Comedy Festival
Best of the Best Sketchfest (Portland, OR)
Tufts Laughs of Love Comedy Festival
We have also performed with and have been recognized by professional sketch comedy groups, including Pangea 3000, Gentlemen Party, Two Fun Men, Harvard Sailing Team, The Whitest Kids U Know, and members of Saturday Night Live.
Also, some of us are single.
COME SEE SLOW KIDS!
