In my research I study the strategic behavior of customers in different queueing systems.
I mainly, focus on systems that allow customers to reserve resources in advance. The motivation for this research is that in recent years, advance reservations becomes common practice in new fields. For example, modern resource management software as “IBM Platform Computing Solutions” support advance reservation. Advance reservations are also emerging in the area of smart cities where customers share resources as parking spots and bike or car rentals.
The objectives in my research projects are to design mechanisms that will optimize the outputs of the system from the perspective of the society or the service’s provider.
I am also interested in the learning respective of games. In those works the goal is to understand the dynamic process of games.
