I study distributed algorithms for control, estimation, and
learning in groups of robots and animals. Here are a few of my
current and past research topics:
Distributed controllers for the deployment of mobile sensor networks
System identification of biological group phenomena from data
Agile multi-robot control over multi-hop networks with time delays
Persistent monitoring and persistent environmental sampling with robots
Information based active sensing and estimation
You can read about these topics in more detail in the research section, or read some of my papers.
Jan 31, 2013 Our paper on mobility on demand systems was accepted
to ACC 2013 in Washington DC.
Jan 7, 2013 Two of our papers were accepted to
ICRA 2013 in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Dec 17, 2012 I attended CDC 2012 in Maui, HI to lead an invited session on “Persistent
Monitoring.”
Dec 4, 2012 Visited
UIUC to give a talk on “Multi-Robot Control for Active Estimation of
Dynamic Environments.”
