NE Singlehanded Champs 

Freshman Streett Silvestri and Brian Baranaskas both qualified for the
NE Singlehanded Champs.  That in itself is an accomplishment. Coach Pete
Spaulding accompanied these talented sailors up to UVM to compete on
Lake Champlain.  It was a hard fought weekend.  Streett was tied for the
fourth
and final qualifying spot for Nationals going into the last race of the
regatta.  It went down to the wire but the bad guys beat us by a
boatlength
and we fell to fifth, one point back.  Brian finished up 10th.  Each
should
be congratulated on their fine efforts.  We'll be back!
