Student/Team Seeking Bulletin Board
Students looking for a team may submit relevent information and have
it posted on this website to facilitate the team building
process. Likewise, teams looking for a person to play a particular
roll, or with a particular expertiece may post a bulletin.
As an example, such information may be submitted by email to
bu.entrepreneurs at gmail.com and could include the following fields:

- What does the design competition require?
If you can identify a market need that you can cater to using your technical education then you should definitely take part in the competition. The competition is meant to encourage students to find new markets for technical ideas, or find a market need market and develop a solution for it. - I have an idea/plan, but I don't know the business
details. What should I do?
If you have an idea and are looking to team up with students from the School of Management or from another engineering colleges you should come to our networking events. Also, to get an early start, you can send us brief email about about what are you looking for and we will post it on this website for the interested students to contact you. - I would like to be part of a team, and I have skills X, Y,
and Z. What should I do?

aspects of entrepreneurship. Where can I learn about the business side
of things?
To train the students to take part in the competition we will hold talks, tentatively, every Friday. The talks will be conducted by faculty in the School of Management, venture capitalists, leading entrepreneurs, etc. - What will I get out of it?
The contest winners will be awarded cash prizes! 1st prize: $1000, 2nd prize: $500, 3rd and 4th prizes: $250
Additionally, participants may receive mentoring related to entrepreneruship as well as legal advice from intelectual property resources at BU. The winners will also have the costs of a provisional patent covered for their idea. - I have some questions and need some advice, where should I
go?
SAGE will sponsor a number of mentoring sessions in the fall and early spring where participants can interact with faculty from the School of Management, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, attorneys, and other such professionals. - Who can take part in the competition?
The competition is open to any group of students who are all registered at Boston University. Teams may have as many as five individuals. - What kinds of ideas can I bring to the contest?
Just about anything! The only stipulation is that the idea must have a strong technical component to it.
