Learning Check Lab: Directions

  1. Start Dreamweaver.
  2. Define a site in Dreamweaver that points to the folder your instructor specifies. This site only contains an images folder with graphics you need to create your exercises.
  3. Re-create the exercises shown in class. You can view them at: http://people.bu.edu/reza/LearningChecks. If you feel comfortable with those, create some of your own.

    Create each exercise in its own page. For each exercise:

    This screen capture shows that you want to create a multiple choice item using the radio buttons template. To complete the exercise, access each tab at the bottom of the screen (General, Choices, and Action Manager).

Create a Multiple-choice text exercise

Which color is a primary color? Select the correct answer.

Create a text entry exercise

Specify one of the primary colors. Enter your response in the text box and press Submit.

Accept these answers as correct: red, blue, yellow
T hese answers are incorrect: green, orange, pink, brown, black, white

Create a drag and drop exercise

Match the name of each animal with its picture.

Use the graphic target-label.gif to indicate to the learner where to drop the drag items.

To create this drag and drop, choose the Many to Many drag and drop template. You need to create three drag elements and three target elements. The drag elements are the words (cow, elephant and eagle). The target elements are the blocks where the user will drop each word.
