elevision and Videos

ery young children can learn violence from watching family, siblings and televised images of violence. In one experiment children played more violently with their own dolls after watching televised children play violently with dolls. Pushing, shoving, throwing objects designed to hurt another are lessons taught by many ‘harmless’ cartoons.
Remember who is watching television. ‘Violent’ cartoons or the "Three Stooges" are funny to a child who knows that it is wrong and mean to hit. They are teaching tools to an infant who thinks that hitting might be a good way to get what he wants. Television is like a charging buffalo--good in its own place --dangerous around children less than six!

In summary Beware of ‘violent’ television.  And try to reverse a disturbing trend of putting a television in a child’s bedroom.

NO VIOLENT TELEVISION
NO TELEVISION IN A CHILD’S BEDROOM
