nfancy   One of the best ways to create children who are non violent is to create children who trust. Mothers and fathers who read to children every day give them time in which the child will feel the message that human beings are infinitely valuable.
 When parents begin to read to their children in infancy, many will continue to read to their children long into their teenage years.
     The benefits of a father reading to an infant.
a)  Child gets used to father’s deeper voice and listens better to father later.
b)  Child learns more words like llama or pegasus.
c)  Child understands how books work, so that they will always like books especially when they go to school.
d)  Father can see how child’s mind is growing by how she responds to the same book over time.
e)  Father is able to use a calm voice to soothe a child after they have been rough housing.
f)  Child knows that father thinks learning and books are important.
 
 Libraries are great. Get a relationship with a librarian so that the librarian can keep up with you and your child’s tastes. Don't spend a lot of money on books. You may get bored with the books before your child. Modern children's books will entertain you as the parent.
