I am a PhD candidate in musicology at Boston University. My main area of research is vocal duos in popular music. I am initially focusing on the Everly Brothers, the roots and sources of their style, and their influence on later artists such as the Beatles.

I am developing this site as a repository of information I have collected about the Everly Brothers and vocal duos in other areas of American popular and vernacular music, particularly in musical theater (from minstrelsy to Broadway) and in country music.
