The BU Open, sponsored by the BU Chess Club, was organized by the BUCC executive board:  Jennie Frenklakh, Roman Brusovankin, David Silldorf, Stefanie Moore, Allan Ong (who was the tournament director) and Robert Oresick (club advisor and assistant TD).

IM Bill Paschall won the open with 4 of 4 points.
