Welcome!
The BU Organic Gardening Club (OGC) is udent group dedicated to growing plants. We meet weekly in the
greenhouse on top of the Stone Science Building (675 Commonwealth Ave.
See directions page for to our plants and
learn from each other. We collectively care for our plants and have a
watering schedule so members can grow things even if they can't
regularly make meetings or visit the greenhouse.
If you are already a gardening pro, looking to learn how to garden, want to find a green spot on BU's urban campus, or simply want to socialize, we encourage you to contact us (ogc@bu.edu) and attend a meeting. No prior gardening experience or knowledge is required! Our meetings are more of a learning experience than a professional production operation.
In general, we meet on Thursdays around 5PM (Spring '09) but if you cannot make these times and still want to garden, contact us and we can schedule some other time. You can check out keys to the greenhouse from the Department of Geography and Environment for visiting during other times.
