Some Recent Limestone Acheivement Awards
  John: Honorary State Trooper award for the most recent utterance of, “Sure, I’ll be a trooper and come on the trip. To where? Somewhere in Maine? Can’t be that far.”
  Yona: Billy Goat Gruff award for being the most reliable, reformed, rarin’-to-go, rehabilitated roofer, and for saying, “Hey, see – I can nail it in straight.”
  Mooney: The I-Can-Be-Renoir-Too Thumb award for the most effective instance of standing back and assessing the quality of our work while contemplating the philosophical impact of changing the name of our group from the Tikun Olam Family Work Project to J.W.H.
  Sam: Choo-Choo Charlie the Engineer award for the largest teen-per-mile conveyance in the history of Northern Maine, Eastern Aoostook Country Division. Limited to state roads and driveways only. Also most creative choice of place for the hiding of car keys.
  Arielle: Mary Cassatt award for the most creative use of house-paint on a body-canvas. Also for most dedicated commitment to the concept of paint-tithing whereby one is obligated to donate 10% of all paint to the Creative Arts.
  Barbara: Owens-Corning award for, “What, no fiberglass bat insulation this year?”

  Bruce: Magen-David the Maven award for the most enthusiastic construction of a new porch from toothpicks and other scrounged, available materials. (When times were tough, Sonia learned to make wonderful dishes from snow.)
Steve: Mario Andretti award for the most creative driving on a mission trip in the history of the state of Maine – three years standing.

Mark: Merriam-Webster award for the most creative use of the three words, “it, is, and what” (It is what it is.)
