Mark W. Grinstaff is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry at Boston University and a College of Engineering Distinguished Faculty Fellow.
Mark received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois under the mentorship of Professor Kenneth S. Suslick and was an NIH postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology with Professor Harry B. Gray. Mark's awards include the ACS Nobel Laureate Signature Award, NSF Career Award, Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship, Pew Scholar in the Biomedical Sciences, Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar, and Edward M. Kennedy Award for Health Care Innovation. He has published more than 170 peer-reviewed manuscripts and given more than 240 oral presentations. His students and fellows have given more than 85 oral presentations and 250 posters. He is a co-founder of four companies that are commercializing his ideas and he has three medical products being sold and used in the clinic. His current research activities include new macromolecule and amphiphile syntheses, self-assembly chemistry, tissue engineering, drug delivery, and imaging.
Eric received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. He obtained his B.A. in Chemistry from Michigan State University in 2001.
Harry received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University in 2009.
Meredith received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2009. She obtained a B.A. in Chemistry from Franklin and Marshall College in 2005.
Aaron received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2009.
Jonah received a B.S. in Bioengineering from Lehigh University in 2008.
Ben received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine in 2009.
Caroline received a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering at SUNY Stony Brook in 2006.
Xinrong received a B.S. in Chemistry from Wuhan University in 2008.

Shawn is a postdoctoral fellow at NIH. He received his Ph.D. from Boston University. Shawn received a M.S. in Chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology in 2004 and a B.E. in Pharmaceutical Engineering from East China University in 2001.
Xiaojuan is currenlty a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School. She received her Ph.D. from Boston University. Xiaojuan also received heir B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003.
Guilhem is an Assistant Professor at the Univeriste de Nice. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Universite de Bordeaux in 2009.
Prashant is currently working at Pfizer. He received his Ph.D. from Boston University. Prashant also earned his M.S. in Bioengineering from Penn State University in 2004 and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, India in 2002.
Sam is currently working as an assistant in Professor Klapperich's laboratory. She earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry at Boston University in 2010.
Aaron is currently working at Selecta Biosciences, Watertown, MA. He received his Ph.D. from Boston University. Aaron also received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University in 2003.
Neel is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Harvard University. Neel received his undergraduate degree from Harvey Mudd College and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
Abby is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at MIT. She received her B.S. from Lehigh University and her Ph.D. from Boston University
Jesse received his B.S. in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Florida and his Ph.D. from Boston University

Chad is an Assitant Professor of Chemistry at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He received his A.B. from Occidental College and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine.
Meredith is a Manager at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare. She received her B.S. from Western Washington University, her Ph.D. from Duke University, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at NIH.
Michael is a Senior Scientist and was the first empolyee at HyperBranch Medical Technology. He received his B.S. from Furman University and her Ph.D. from Duke University in 2003.
