A mid-life crisis caused a return to graduate school. After 6 years at Harvard working in the networking group under HT Kung I am now teaching and doing research at BU. My teaching includes the IS part of H.323 (core), and the telecommunications and networking courses for undergrads, and dual degree MIS/MBA students. My research interests have included ATM, TCP/IP over ATM, and packet classification for Quality of Service. My currents research includes using networking technology as a teaching aid, standardization in the IT area, designing network based-services in market uncertainty, wireless Internet services, and general Internet related topics.
