Parallel universe
Parallel universe is a justification scene game for four players.
The audience gives the actors two suggestions for non-geographic locations, one normal one and one that is as far from normal as possible.
The scene begins in the everyday location. At any point in the action, the ref can yell "switch." The actors must then do the other location's scene, retaining and justifying their body positions to fit the new environment. Each time action returns to a previous scene, time should have passed and the plot should have progreesed.
Sometimes the two scenes' plots follow a common formula, and it becomes a game of "parallel storylines" as well as parallel environments. Though this sometimes entertains audiences, it is not the game's intention.
