The room
The room is an environment-building exercise for three or more players.
A player walks on stage and mimes action to indicate some fixed object. The actor exits, and up to five other actors walk on, one at a time, and indicate another fixed object through mime. Each actor must also find some way to interact with each object already in the room, preferably tying all object together in a short mimed scene.
Three actors, who may or may not be the ones who mimed the objects, now do a scene based on the audience's suggestion and the environment the actors created.
Alternate version: When setting the environment, actors may describe each feature they add aloud instead of miming it. This version typically uses more actors and fore objects, and actors need not interact with objects already present when they add their own.
