Irish drinking song
Irish drinking song is an endgame for four players.
The audience suggests the name and occupation of an imaginary person. The actors then get in a line and sing a song about this person, one line at a time, with a different actor contributing each successive line.
There are four verses of four lines each. In each verse, the final line must rhyme with the second. At the end of each verse, the last singer moves to the front of the line so that the order of singers changes with each verse.
The first line of the last verse is always "The moral of the story is..."
The chorus, of course, is "Oh, Eyedy deidy deidy deidy deidy deidy die! Oh, eyedy deidy deidy deidy deidy deidy die!"
In alternate versions, performers don't sing a person's life story, but instead sing about a holiday, a life-changing experience or any other audience suggestion.
