Hi! I'm William. I'm a Graduate Student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boston University. I'm studying computational fluid dynamics of multiphase systems with applications in carbon capture. I work in the Computational Energy Laboratory under Professor Emily Ryan.
In the Spring of 2008, I completed two programs at the New Brunswick Community College: Machinist and CNC Machinist. While enrolled in these programs, I started working in aerospace manufacturing (Apex Industries) as a CNC Machinist. I really enjoyed working with my hands, but I realized that if I really wanted to make an impact on the world, I needed to keep moving on my career path.
In the Fall of 2008, I returned to school and enrolled at the University of New Brunswick. While there, I participated in TMExchange, an entrepreneurial exchange program with University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The program consisted of taking MBA courses at UNM and doing an internship with a small business, Intellicyt in my case. In 2012 I received a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and diploma in Technology, Management, and Entrepreneurship (TME).
Details of my professional history can be found in my Résumé.
