At the beach on a day off ........... Vigilant mother capybara, with baby In general, I am interested in the anti-predator behavior of small mammals and the social behavior of carnivores. My studies in Panama focus mostly on vigilance behavior in agoutis. In future I would like to expand this research to include capybaras. I have also examined sprinting performance in lizards. In Boston, I study social signaling and play behavior in Canis domesticus, with the occasional foray into squirrel locomotor performance. |
