12.1.07: First Annual Before-Exams Tackle Football Game
The first annual tackle football game was held at Magazine Beach and had the Freshmen&Seniors challenging the Juniors&Sophomores. It was our last event before we dedicated the rest of the month before finals to culture show practices. The Juniors&Sophomores won :)

11.10.07: Agganis Arena Clean Up
As our last service event of the semester, KSA cleaned up BU's famed Agganis Arena as a fundraiser. Hard work and sweat, but we truly appreciate everyone who came out, as the money will go towards KSA having an amazing culture show!
11.9.07: KSA Dinner at Rosie's Place
Rosie's Place is a sanctuary that provides both long-term and emergency assistance for poor and homeless women. It's been around since 1974, and has survived by having committed volunteers and private supporters. BU KSA decided to help out by making and serving a homemade Korean dinner which consisted of bulgogi (marinated beef), rice, and dumplings.
11.6.07: KSA presents Ken Oak Band
Ken Oak Band, a Los Angeles based band, consists of Korean-American, Ken Oak (Cello, Vocals, Guitar) and Ed Gorski (Left-Handed Guitar,Vocals). They performed on BU's campus for a free event, but donations from the audience went to the Korea Welfare Foundation.

10.29.07: KSA Scary Movie Night
In anticipation of Halloween, KSA held a Scary Movie Night in the Howard Thurman Center, featuring the movie Whispering Corridors. The Howard Thurman Center is a center dedicated to cultural awareness on BU's campus.
10.28.07: First Info Meeting on KSA CULTURE SHOW
We held a small meeting with information about our biggest event of the year. Please sign up for events through email!
10.27.07: BU vs BC Olympics

BU KSA and BC KSA went head to head in our first Olympic event, which took place at BU's FITREC. We had intense games of volleyball and basketball, and finished it all off with an eating contest. It was our first joint KSA event with any other school, and we hope to continue the tradition!
10.19.07: Krispy Kreme Sales
KSA gathered early in the morning to sell Krispy Kreme donuts (not available anymore in Mass.) to the people of downtown Boston in order to fundraise for the Korea Welfare Foundation. KWF helps South Korean orphans get school supplies among other things. Although a long day of selling donuts, KSA managed to make a good profit to send to KWF.
10.1.07: 2nd General Meeting
Our 2nd general meeting was brief but filled with information about October, which we designated as Service Month.

9.23.07: Eboard Elections
Many people came out to StuVi's TV room to vote for the newest members of the eboard. Congratulations to Teddy, Sara, Becky, Carol, Amanda, Diana, Josh, and Mike!
9.21.07: 2nd Annual Food Festival
The Food Festival was another huge success, with lines out the door and people sitting around enjoying traditional Korean street food (theme: PoJangMaCha (korean street market)). The event was sponsored by Helio, who came and had raffles & games.
9.12.07: First General Meeting
Our First General Meeting had over 200 people! The meeting featured icebreaker games and information about our upcoming events.
9.03.07: Splash!

Splash, an annual activities expo that takes place at the beginning of the year, was the first time the 07-08 KSA Eboard got together and gained exposure.
