ANIMA MUNDI by David Nez

Oja ninenata, oja ninena naj,
Oja ninenata, oja nini naj.
Oj, Marice, Mara,
See your mother scolds you.
You should take no presents,
From that sailor boy.
For the sailor's faith
Is unfaithfulness.
He will betray you, beautiful girl.
Oj, Mara, my white dove,
For whom do you dress up?
It's neither for yourself,
Nor for somebody else.
Oj, Marice, Mara,
Tell me honestly.
My white dove, Mara,
My heart's desire.
For the sailor's faith
Is unfaithfulness.
He will betray you, beautiful girl.
Oja ninenata, oja ninena naj,
Oja ninenata, oja nini naj.
