Outreach
Outreach is rewarding to me because of the genuine curiosity science brings out in people. I have helped organize and run various outreach events at Boston University as well as Oregon State University as the president of the Society of Physics Students at OSU.
Above is a group photo after an outreach event with a cub scout troop in Sweet Home, Oregon in Spring 2012 organized by the Oregon State Space Society and the OSU Society of Physics Students. It was a lot of fun, including a successful rocket launch!
