the categories with the navigational frame to the left
Coffee
table. White pine. Top is Douglas fir flooring (tongue and grove planks).
Poplar drawers. Drawers face both ways, top on one side, bottom on the
other. Wrought iron knob from Restoration Hardware. Oak
cabinet with some Prarie Style influences. Recessed panel doors, sides.
Iron hardware. One shelf is adjustable. Drawer fits videos; shelves for
photo albums.
Pine
sideboard. 1 1/2" thick top, 50" wide, 32" high. Breadboard ends, multiple
fluted legs, handmade wraparound molding. Three deep drawers with hand-waxed
slotted runners and Mission style hardware. Custom-tinted Danish oil finish. Purpleheart
(Amaranth) night stands. Purpleheart is one of the densest woods and certainly
a hard one to work with. The strength and weight of the wood permits the
narrow legs, which are fluted and edged with a bead in a variation on
a Federal theme. The drawers are also edged with a bead and fitted flush
so as not to compete with the detail of the legs, but rather to continue
their design.
Colonial
American pine buffet. Cast iron hardware, black wire door panels, short
upper shelf for cups and saucers. Top is removable. Pine
chest with scrolled base and stencil work. Interior is cedar lined.
Painted
beadboard bathroom cabinet. Western
red cedar plant box. Fits four 6" pots. Angled rails. Untreated (cedar's
natural oils prevent rot and infestation better than any chemical finish).

Counter
in pantry. Counter, wall cabinets, floor, and wainscoting made from 150-year-old
replaned pine from barn. Counter, 18" x 60", with 1 1/2"
top, has fluted backsplash, raised panel sides and doors with hand forged
black iron reproduction hardware from Acorn.
Drawer pulls from Restoration
Hardware.
