About Me
Besides astronomy, I have a few hobbies I like to do in my (precious
litte) spare time. Among these are archery (I just got a 40# recurve
for Christmas, which I am adjusting to), and biking (I currently live in
Denmark, so that is not particularly unique here, but back in Boston I
was also a bike commuter).
I enjoy being and doing things outside such as hiking, camping, and
canoeing. Summer weather in Denmark is perfect for such activities.
In winter, not so much.
I love Denmark, and I would live here forever if I could. My Danish
is not that great, but it's improving (slowly). I have Danish
ancestry, and a Danish last name, so I fit right in (except my first
name is a boy's name here, which has caused a little confusion, but
also made for some good stories).
I speak fluent Spanish, which I learned in Venezuela. I consider
Venezuelan Spanish to be the perfect variation of Spanish. Don't try
to argue with me on this one.
In a previous life, I was an artist. I still enjoy drawing once in a
while when I have time.
I recently joined a football (or "soccer" as you Yankees call it) team
here. Watching me try to play with a coach screaming commands in
Danish, and me understanding next to nothing, is probably quite
amusing. I have a good time. I also took up swimming again.
