I am currently a PhD candidate under advise from Professor Sean B. Andersson at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Boston University.
I devote my research in developing an advanced control application, utilizing an Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) in order to perform a novel local raster scan. I am also a student member of BU's Center for Information and System Engineering(CISE), where I used to help with weekly seminars as a student host.
Before joining the Andersson Lab, I worked in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). I used to be a Staff Research Assistant at the Hydrotech Research Institute, at National Taiwan University, working with Professor Ting-Kuei Tsay on real time flood forecasting, and I was also a Thermal Engineer at Delta Electronics, performing thermal cooling analysis for industrial electronic products.
I graduated MS and BS from the department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering, National Taiwan University, where I received advise from Professor Emeritus Chin-Hua Kong and Professor Der-Liang Young, focusing on the subject of advanced computational schemes applied to fluid dynamics.
