Eohyella dichotoma, preserved in silicified ooid
grains in ca 800 Million years old chert nodules found in East
Greenland. This species resembles modern Hyella stella. The
ancient assemblage contains several distinct species each having a close
modern counterpart
(Green et al. 1986).
