The Group on International Perspectives on Governmental Aggression and Peace is an interdisciplinary group of international researchers studying international and cross-cultural perspectives on various forms of aggression. We have been studying perspectives on family violence for more than five years, and continue actively with this work. Recently, we have extended our work to investigate international perspectives on institutional violence, particularly violence by governments. We have developed a scale; the Personal and Institutional Rights to Aggression and Peace Scale (PAIRTAPS), to assess views on peace, war, and other forms of governmental aggression. |
