I am currently a PhD candidate in the Economics
Department at Boston
University. My concentrations are Finance and
Econometrics. My primary research interest lies in the valuation
of the early-stage firms with jump risk and understanding the
volatility of those firms, and my secondary interest is international
finance. During the years in my Ph.D. program, I have applied
the quantitative techniques to the study of firm valuation, contingent
claims valuations, portfolio management, risk management, investment
strategies and other finance areas.
My teaching interests include undergraduate and
graduate classes in investments, financial institutions, capital
markets, corporate finance,
macroeconomics and financial econometrics. I am working as Teaching
Fellow for Professor Robert Merton's
Functional and Strategic Finance
class at Harvard Business School this semester.
