EWB-BU: Current Projects
Water Filtration
- EWB-BU's current primary
project is to bring fresh, clean
water to the people of Chirimoto. An improvement in water quality will
help reduce diseases that affect all of the young population and in
essence will provide the entire community with the
quintessential component for health.

Battery Disposal
- To promote the responsible
disposal of batteries in
Chirimoto, an EWB-BU initiative has started to take shape under the
supervision of the regional government and with assistance from
international corporations. With both containment and educational
components, the reduction of toxic waste will improve the standard of
living.
