installation of the cabling infrastructure and networking hardware throughout
the University campus
Assist in maintaining a communications
specification used by all cabling subcontractors as well as quality control
Installation and maintenance of Uninterruptible
Power Supplies (UPS) - These UPS’ are deployed in various strategic locations
around the campus to support major networking hubs and core networking
equipment
Assist other departments in the implementation
of network services for building access control; building heating, ventilation
and air conditioning; point of sale applications; vending services; and Housing
laundry key card systems
