Some extracurricular projects I am working on or have worked on:
- Stereo Convolution Plugin (FB2K) - C++ - 2007.16.05
I wrote a plugin for Foobar2000 for stereo convolution, primarily for the purpose of performing head-related transfer functions of music as I listen
to it over headphones.
- Vocal Pitch Tracker (w/Ross Maddox) - MATLAB/C++ - 2005.12.06
We developed an effective algorithm to detect the pitch of monophonic vocal samples using second-generation wavelets (wavelets with a lifting step).
- Frisbee Flight Simulation - (w/Tyson Cook) - JAVA - 2005.06.01
We used Open Source Physics libraries to write a three-dimensional frisbee simulation which took into account air resistance, lift/drag forces
and torques, and so on.

- CBT in Northern Thailand - (w/Ryan Rhadigan) - WORD - 2005.02.01
A project to spread information about the hill tribes of northern Thailand--the Mae Hong Son (MHS) region--to the tourists who utilize the sustainable
community-based tourism (CBT) system.
- Songwriter (w/Ross Maddox) - MATLAB - 2005.06.25
Our goal is to create an intelligent program that writes four-part Mendelssohn chorales. After initial successes with basic four-part harmonization,
we have decided to restructure the voicing decision process (project on hold).
- Athena DAQ (w/Ross Maddox) - C++ - 2005.06.25
Software (for Steve Errede) to interface a PC/104 based Athena Data Acquisition System using MATLAB (with the Realtime, xPCTarget, and Simulink
toolboxes) and a National Instruments GPIB board.
I have worked on several movie projects with Ross Maddox. I have also devised other non-postworthy projects.
