I am the Richard and Minda Reidy Family Career Development Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. My research focuses on the development of tools for the Specification, Design, and Assembly of Synthetic Biological Systems. Background
I received my Bachelors of Science in Engineering (Computer Engineering) from the University of Michigan in 2001. I received my Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2004 and my PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2007 (both from UC Berkeley). After receiving my PhD I was a UC Chancellor’s postdoctoral fellow both at UC Berkeley and the Joint BioEnergy Institute.
